Kei Kunieda is a newscaster who works hard to maintain an amicable and sympathetic demeanor. Despite his outward grin, he secretly curses others to his heart's delight. Even though he keeps part of himself concealed at all times, his regular existence is smooth, but that changes when he meets Ushio Tsuzuki, an independent stop-motion animator. Soon, Kei finds himself trapped in a deception as a result of his two personalities meeting Ushio under different circumstances, with the other guy oblivious to the fact that they are the same person. As feelings develop between them, Kei is unsure if Ushio will love all aspects of him or just half of him.
