Green Leaves Entertainment is a small production company based in Sendai, Japan's largest city in the northeastern Tohoku region. The firm used to oversee the careers of magicians, picture idols, fortune tellers, and other performers, but its last client just left. With the firm on the edge of going out of business and facing the prospect of having no talent (literally), president Tange comes up with the concept of creating an idol group. On the directions of the bombastic president, the disgruntled manager Matsuda goes out to scout raw potential.
