The plot centres around a new band of "Toei robot ladies" called "Team Z," which consists of three females from Toei's Mazinger Z franchise: Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and UFO Robot Grendizer. Typically, they participate in events in Tokyo's Nerima neighborhood to increase awareness of the promising future energy source "Photon Power" (koushiryoku). However, the "Mechanical Beast" band of females would occasionally emerge from the "Subterranean Empire" and seek to take the energy. As a result, "Team Z" must fight them to avoid this, albeit occasionally they simply go beat up the "bad females" to alleviate tension.
