The Paper Sisters are Anita King, Maggie Mui, and Michelle Cheung. In Hong Kong, they manage the Three Sisters Detective Agency, which specializes in solving crimes involving books. They are engaged as local guides for Nenene Sumiregawa, a Japanese author who has been suffering from writer's block since her longtime companion, Yomiko Readman, went missing. The sisters are all Paper Masters—people who have the ability to control paper—and they use their skills to defend Nenene from deadly terrorists who are targeting her during a book launch. However, in the event that they strike again, the sisters will remain as her guardians to defend her from further damage.
