Brothers Shoma and Kanba only know that their terminally sick sister Himari was miraculously revived by a Penguin hat that she had wished for after collapsing in an aquarium and appearing to die. Since finding the enigmatic artefact known as the Penguindrum is the price of keeping Himari alive, they are now on an impossible errand, but they will stop at nothing to save their sister. Anything.
