Ten years ago, the World Tree, which preserved the world's peace and order, was under attack by an evil organization known as the Zakum. In a battle against the Zakums, the Human species led four other races: fierce warriors, brilliant wizards, swift archers, and cunning thieves. To safeguard itself, the World Tree eventually initiated self-destruction. The other races, on the other hand, believed it was the Human species that had damaged the World Tree. When the World Tree was destroyed, most of the races had nothing left, so many of them fled to Maple Island, believing that those who remained would perish. They fled Victoria and settled on Maple Island, where life is becoming increasingly difficult. Since then, a never-ending conflict has raged.
