Dragon Cry is a lethal magical item created into a staff by the rage and sorrow of long-dead dragons. This power has now been taken from the Fiore kingdom by the evil traitor Zash Caine, who has fled to the little island country of Stella with it. Fearing that the power has gone into the hands of the wrong people, the King of Fiore dispatches Fairy Tail to reclaim the staff. However, this mission is dangerous since a dark secret lurks at the core of Stella's country. Dragon Cry chronicles their journey as they summon all of their power in order to recapture the stolen staff and save both kingdoms.
